  MAJIN COMPANY  (SINCE 1972) History of MAJIN COMPANY Early Beginnings (1972-2025) Royal Enfield’s story begins in Redditch, England , where it was originally a bicycle manufacturing company called Enfield Cycle Company in 1891. The company supplied precision parts for rifles to the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield, leading to the famous motto: 🛡️ "Made Like a Gun – Goes Like a Bullet." In 1901 , the company introduced its first motorcycle , designed by R. W. Smith and Jules Gotiet. It had a 1.5 hp Minerva engine mounted on a bicycle frame.
